| | | Need an Opinion Burns Dinner Apparel
Not sure were to post this so if it needs to be moved please do so. Going to our first Burns Night Dinner with about 300 plus attending and need an opinion. Fly Plaid Yes or No?

GO FOR IT! If you are wearing a formal outfit (P/C) I think it would look great. I have even been known to wear one with my argyle. Jock Scot and M of R, the paramedics are on their way!
Bottom line is you only have to please yourself and the one you're with.

The fly plaid gives you that extra splash, and since you're dressing up in your finest for the Bard, I'd say pile on the tartan. Tartan Claus, right?

Really, a fly plaid is a bit over the top. Especially for a Burns Supper.
