    Next kilt help

So I'm looking for my next kilt and each time I try to decide on the tartan I get a little farther away from actually picking one. I have a Weathered Mackenzie from SWK, a Hamilton Grey that's on its way, and my Sportkilt I wear around the house.

So I'm asking the experts... What do you all think would be a nice tartan to continue you my collection with?

    Tough question
If it were me I would go for something that I have connection to, family or otherwise. Of course you might want to go for a district tartan such as the Isle of Skye.

Here are some of my Isle of Skye:

Everyone seems to really love that one. I have to get a swatch of it now just to see for myself.

Very wise indeed. Well done. That goes for all tartans, not just IoS.

My vote also would be for the IoS---now my favorite to wear. You put it on and it just feels like your in scotland.

I agree with the rest.. Isle of Skye - it's the most beautiful tartan I've ever seen. Though I do see your dilemma, it's quite hard making a decision when there are so many beautiful tartans from which to choose.

Honestly, I'd go for something like Mackenzie Hunting, pleated to a nice white stripe.

Don't underestimate it. It's very nice.

Personally, I'm saving for a Robertson Hunting, pleated to the red stripe, as Barb T. says it is fantastic, and Robertson is my wife's clan.

You could always go with your family or Clan's tartan...If one is available.
