    Oh Boy Oh Boy!

Just sent the balance of what I owe to Kath Lare for my Douglas Grey Ancient traditional from her. The jones is getting unbearable with the kilt so close yet so far away.

Buddy, do I know THAT feeling?!

It's one thing to wait for a casual... but having to endure the wait for a traditional from an OUTSTANDING maker like Kath?!!!

Take two Guinness and do it again in the morning.

The Ancient Gray Douglas is a _beautiful_ tartan. I made one for piper Andrew Douglas (SFU) a year ago, and it is _really_ elegant.

Am just now making a kilt out of Lochcarron's new Highland Granite tartan (making it for a geologist-to-be!!). Even more understated than the Gray Douglas. Will post pics when I get it done - I love the tartan for many of the same reasons that I like the Gray Douglas!

This has to be the worse jonesing I've gone through. I've hooked up a keg of Guiness to me arm and have an iv drip going

Barb, your right about the Douglas Grey. I've been wanting a kilt in it ever since I bought my first one two years ago.
