I think outside of a Lamont tartan kilt, the Carolina tartan is my next-in-line choice down the road. I grew up in the foothills near North Wilkesboro, and now live in Asheville. Born and raised in NC, still here in NC! Sounds like the Carolina tartan is quite appropriate for me. Looks great!

Another great kit, and you've put together quite a few that I've seen on the site. The lovat blue is excellent with this kilt, and the box pleats!...gonna have to have box-pleat kilt one of these days.

Which 'Royal Cuffs' pattern are you going with for this tartan?
