Re: Oh! My turn! How'd I do?

Very nicely done, sir! Was this by way of sporranmaker @ eBay? If so, I believe it's the same place where I just got my HoE tweed jacket... and you were lucky enough to get one with a matching waistcoat, too!

How was it advertised on eBay? Mine was dubbed "moss green" but depending on the lighting when photographed looks like anything between sage and oatmeal -- which makes it very tough finding matching fabric! Yours seems more of a hodden grey, especially judging from the second pic.

Looking forward to additional pix from you....

Congratulations! That jacket and vest look like they were made for you. Did you have to alter it in any way? If not, a very spectacular find on your part. Wish I could find something like that second-hand in my size...

Enjoy the moment and wear it in good health for many, many years!

That's it, Scott!!! Hahaha! It certainly looks like it doesn't it? I may have been 'cleaning' out the bits of haggis between my teeth - wow, I painted a pretty picture there didn't I?! Hahaha!

LoL yes it was from him (him? / her?) honestly I don't remember how it was advertised but I was searching for a waistcoat and jacket for about a year.

It was actually brand new with the tags still on it. A very lucky find.
And No I did not have it tailored in any way. I actually have a special kind of fat made by Tempurpedic called "memory fat" its actually quite comfortable.

Well, he/she certainly seems to be doing a landslide business in discontinued House of Edgar threads!

Perhaps we should see if they'd sponsor a Mass. area kilt night?
