Oops! I did it again (as well!)

In desperate need yesterday of some retail therapy - well, on-line therapy to be precise - I ordered two more kilts, both full 8 yarders in Strome weight tartan.

One is the Cornish National tartan and the other is the Breton National tartan. Since I already have the Welsh Brithwe Dewi Sant (St. David's tartan) and will soon have the Ireland's National tartan from Rocky at USA Kilts, I am near to completing a sub-Kollection of the Celtic nations' tartans.

Oh, dear! This means that I'll have to find hanging space for another six kilts between this week and mid-August!!

I've fond memories of the Breton coast...the lovely small ports, the sea food, the landscape...all charming!

Actually, Robin, I DID order that amazing kilt pin along with the kilt!! Could I say "No thanks" to your generous offer of another one though? I very much doubt it!!! It's really kind of you.

With the Cornish National, I also ordered a Cornish design sporran and a St. Mylor Cross kilt pin.

Hey Ham, when is your birthday? I found a rainbow boa I would like to send (similar to what Ron wore on the other post) and would like to offer it as my gift.

    Rob,

I REALLY do not want to turn this thread, or any other, into a promotion for my 70th Birthday next month - seriously. I did mention it elsewhere, since it is very close to the date of the Harpenden Highland Gathering here in southern England, suggesting that those X Markers who gather there would be able to buy me a celebratory beer! I certainly did not bring it up here!!

Your proposal, as is Robin's, is very kind and touching, but I think I'd best PM you about it. It seems more appropriate!

PS: The 'Breton National': I received an e-mail from France asking if I wanted the kilt in 16oz or 13oz weight - there was no mention of there being a choice on their website and I had assumed it to be 16oz. I've opted for the 13oz in this case. The 'Cornish National' will be in 16oz.

    Hamish,
Would you kindly paste in the links for these items?

I tried googling "cornish design" sporran and got zip.

    Looking forward to more pictures

    Cheers,
