MacBug, I think our bridges self-regenerate in this space. I think the design you describe might work well, perhaps as a bridge (unburned) between the squared off type sometimes seen and the pointier type usually worn with trousers. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am wondering if anyone has an opinion on the use of knitted cardigan vests with the kilt, with or without a waistcoat. I am not crazy about any kind of waistcoat as the outermost garment, but I know others like it and wear it that way. So what about a bonnie Faer Isles weskit, eh?
