    ....& speaking of bespoken

How much time should I expect to wait for a finished bespoken jacket?

Would three weeks be reasonable or is the time measured in Months??

I mainly depends on what sort of wait time you are quoted by the supplier.
If you can avoid it never get into a fair fight.

The man is absolutely right, weeks to months, depending on how busy your tailor is to how long it takes to get the necessary material.

Generally speaking a made to measure jacket should be ready in about 6-8 weeks, and a bespoke jacket in 8-10 weeks. The wait is down to the number of customers in line ahead of you, so delivery times can vary by several weeks either way.

My last made-to-measure jacket was delivered within five weeks, and my last bespoke garment (dinner jacket and trousers) took almost 12 weeks, part of which was spent waiting for the silk lining in MacMillan hunting tartan to arrive from the mill. (It's things like that that can drive up the cost and extend the delivery time with bespoke garments.)

    Hope that answers your question!

Months in my experience, but yes, it does largely depend on what you are having made. Patience is truly a virtue, especially for superbly bespoke Highland dress items and accessories.
