Can't Keep Up

It is a testament to the virtues of the kilt and this forum that I find myself unable to keep up!

Oft times when I visit I find in excess of 700 new posts since my last visit!!! This is often only a span of a few days. My fear, of course, is that I'm going to miss something informative or important.

Clearly the popularity of XMarks is growing; my congratulations to the founders.

Ya, it takes several visits to the forum a day to go through everything in the new posts, and that's just looking at the titles.

One of my favorite features of this forum design is the sneak peek at posts by pausing your cursor over the title. Saves a lot of time by allowing you to scan the first few lines of the first post, helps me decide whether or not to enter the thread -- since some thread titles are less informative/descriptive than others

But I live at my PC most days, so it stays manageable. When I'm gone for any length of time I have the same overload issue!

Ya, and you can miss a whole bunch just over night, or if you weren't following something that built up over several threads. Leaves you wondering why something happened as if almost out of the blue.
