| | | Another shot at a kilt pin.
Kilted Chief posted a link to Bold Blades in another thread. While perusing their site, I found this kilt pin. According to Bold Blades, this pin is their own design. At $22.50 USD, it is reasonably priced as well. http://www.boldblades.com/Clothing%2...cessories.html

I like that pin very much! And it's a very reasonable price too.
They also have some very inexpensive sporrans on that page; does anyone know about the quality of these?

I don't know if it is thier own design or not, but I purchased one similar to it from Ted Sheldon a few years ago at a local Scottish festival. Ted Sheldon is a pewtersmith that used to travel to different games. Matt used to sell some of his kilt pins through the museum.

The kilt pin is made by Ted Sheldon. I am the owner of Bold Blades and I asked him to do so. We supplied illustrations and our friend Ted finalized the design, which we approved. Before that he did not provide a pin of this type. So, I think it is safe to say that the pin is our design, although we do not say that on our web site or in our catalog.
Our sporrans are a good value for the price. We try to provide quality merchandise for someone starting out in "being Scottish". We are aware that as time goes by upgrading of gear is standard but if we help someone put together their outfit at a reasonable cost to themselves, not easy to do these days, then we feel like we have done our job.
While we do not want to be sticklers about this, all the information and photos on our site are copyrighted so, if you want to use them, please be sure to provide specific attribution. And, thanks for the plug.
