    Antiquing

Does anyone know where to find either vintage or antique sporrans or kilt pins can be found? I really like things that have some history to them or that are handmade. Since I still can't quite afford handmade kilts I would like to find a sporran that is formal and antique if I can find someone that is willing to part with one (that I can work my budget around) and a couple of nice hand made kilt pins modern or antiques that need to be loved a little. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. If anyone knows someone that does custom handmade kilt pins from pewter or silver or even steel or Iron. I am looking for something that will last forever that I can wear completely dressed down or with a PC with equal ease.
    My Thanks to the Rabble
    Jeremy

Yes, I know, but like all collectors I'm not about to tell anyone else as it might run up the prices! Your best best is to check out auction houses in the UK. It is amazing how cheap some of this stuff goes for.

You can find some wonderful vintage and antique kiltpins at Kiltgoodies ( http://www.kiltgoodies.com ) based out of The Hague. I have a fantastic one from there. The owner (Robin Lous) is also a friend of mine.

This is the one I have:

    Check them out.

(He also does handmade kiltpins as well.)

Try E-bay. There are often vintage military sporrans, and other accessories with a history
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

Every so often, check House of Labhran:
