    Antlers needed?

If I'm not mistaken, I remember someone wanting antlers for sgain and dirk handles ( and other such stuff ).

Do any of you still need whole or partial antlers? Let me know if you do.

Ok, this is going to sound really gross, but a good free source for deer antlers are the pits that the various highway depts. use to dispose of roadkill. My dad happened across one such pit while hunting several years ago and said it was full of bucks and he in fact returned with a what would have been a trophy rack. I'm not sure how CA works the whole roadkill thing but in PA the local municipalities contract out the actual collection but the state sets up the disposal sites. I'm sure you could call the CA Game Commission to find out about this. That being said, I can't even imagine what the disposal pits would smell like in anything but the depths of winter.

Winter doesn't help, trust me and don't ask how I know.
