Anyone Ever Wear A Top Hat Or Bowler With A Kilt?
My mind was considering the possibilities when I got my new Mens Hats.com catalog.
Guessing they'd both look kind of funny or "off" with a kilt...but rather than trust my own judgement, thought I'd ask the rabble.
Thanks,
Ron
Okay, sorry, didn't think to search first...who'd have thunk there's be an 87 hit thread on this from just last summer....at least on the bowler....

Can't help with the top hat, but my friend wore a bowler at his wedding. Pictures are in the dos and don'ts thread. Opinion was mixed, but decide for yourself. As Wompet said ignore the boquet.

Ron,
While this has been covered before, you are timely in that I have been reconsidering a bowler or derby.
I think that the right person can carry off almost any look. I'm not one of them. So, now I have ball caps, a beret, a bonnet, a caubeen and a driving cap. Can I carry off the derby? I'm doubtful, but game.
Thanks!

I've worn a top hat and I've worn a kilt, but never at the same time.

I'll repeat the line I submitted in the earlier thread:
