This is kind of an open message to Freelander Sporrano...
We had some members of the Danish Army here in Vilseck for training recently.
I never got a chance to ask any of them, but their uniform belt, black and about 2-3 inches wide might make a decent kilt belt. Have you any thoughts on this or other military belts that might also work?

That's what I wear and recommend. I have two web belts, black and khaki (O.D). They're practical, appropriate and cheap at the surplus store.
