    Bargain Kilt Belt from Lowes

I picked up one of these a few days ago and it's pretty cool. It's a very heavy dark oiled leather with weathered brass hardware. Actual size is 2.75" wide and 1/16" thick. It's dark enough to straddle the line between black and brown too.

    Oh yeah, I'm new.

Nice belt, and welcome to XMarks. I'm just down the road in Jefferson City.

Welcome, Dave. I have that exact same belt. I would not try to pass it off as black, but it is the perfect dark brown casual kilt belt.

    Good recommendation.

When I looked at those belts at the local Lowes - they seemed kinda "greasy" - I was afraid they would end up staining my kilts. I wonder if I was looking at a bad lot...
