My wife must really love me... I am a lucky man. I was working away on Valentine's Day and in my haste to leave the house on the day I went, Valentine's Day, which was then fourteen days hence was not on my list of priorities I must admit. Thank goodness for moonpig dot com is all I can say...
Anywhoo. There was no such forgetfulness from my beautiful wife, partner and soul mate. I came home two days ago to the following gifts (yes not just one...)
First up, a dress sporran in black bovine fur with silver and black enamel cantle. It's absolutely smashin'
Next a blackwood and chrome sgian dubh, boxed in a rosewood box and the styled after a nineteenth century military sgian.

It has a carved blackwood handle and is studded with nails and silvered pommel. The scabard is black leather and chrome.
It's nice and I like it very much. Unfortunately I will now have to recant my previous sgian rants as I have every intention of wearing this beautiful thing when the occasion is right.
