    Hello from New Mexico

Finaly got signed up and active but I can't type for beans, got the space in the wrong place so Weasel ain't got the L in the right place. A little bit about myself Master Blacksmith, married for 20 years to a wife who is in the "you are giong to wear a WHAT" stage right now. In 2005 she was going to let my buy a Mcalister tartan kilt at the Highland Games in Rio Rancho but when I got the price for a 10 yard kilt (I am very dainty) of over a grand I said No WAY. I that a true oxymoron a Scot too frugal to buy a kilt in his clan tartan.

And welcome from another of the Florida rabble! We have to be a rabble across the whole state because we can't get enough of us in one place for a local rabble!

Welcome to the forum and the addiction from Snellville Georgia
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    Welcome,

Not sure where in New Mexico you be, but check out Kathy Lare at www.kathyskilts.com she's in Albuquerque and has sewn up six kilts for me and her prices are fair but no where near a grand. Guessing you got the special "sucker price" at the games from a middle man.

And, you only gotta put some down for the fabic and pay on delivery. Pics of her work in my gallery. She's the best.

But puleeze don't deny yourself the pleasures of the kilt just because someone was gonna overcharge you....and of course there are plenty of less expensive options too.

    Hi Weasle.
    from Hobbs, NM.
What part of this desolate state do you hail from?
Oh, and do yourself a favor and listen to Riverkilt. You will find that Kathy's prices are going to be far under a "G."
