    Blue Bonnet

Where can I get a traditional (historical, more or less) blue bonnet? I have a beret, but it's not the same....too French to wear with the kilt.

Too French! What's wrong with berets! Be careful sir, we Gascon Cadets are not to be trifled with...

I have never worn these, but the maker has a reputation for well-made glengaries and balmorals, and they cost less than most other places.

Here's another UK source (very authentic):

Also, there will soon be a new North American source for correct period bonnets - as soon as the knitter works out her patterns and can begin production. More later! (Hint - she's the fiancee of one of our own X-Markers...!)

This seller emphasizes the traditional accuracy of their blue bonnets and white cockades, has a novel way of making them.
