    Post buckle brogues and hose

i managed to get myself some buckle brogues on good auld ebay and i was wondering if anyone could show any images of buckle brogues they own and with the various hose they would wear them for example tartan hose plain coloured hose coloured diced and so on
i just want to get a nosey of what others prefer to wear with them i had a wee peek on the search function on here but alot of members had removed the photobucket images they added which has resulted in threads full of information and little or no images

Here are my buckle brogues with castellated tartan hose.

Here they are with castellated diced hose.

    thankyou for those images,
it seems to be that buckle shoes need to be with diced or tartan hose , does anyone have examples of plain kilt hose with buckle footware or would this look odd?

I wouldn't say that buckle brogues need to be worn with tartan or diced hose per se. But I generally wear my buckle brogues to more formal evening events, and I typically wear either tartan or diced hose to formal evening events, ergo I wear tartan or diced hose with my buckle brogues.

But if one were not to have tartan or diced hose I think a good pair of solid hose would be just fine.
