Bullet belt with a kilt.
Hello, I was wondering if you all would think it's a good idea to wear a bullet belt with a kilt.
Thanks.

it would be "punk as f**k".....
if you're going out clubbing where you can wear a bullet belt at all, then i don't see how adding a kilt to the outfit would hurt.
post up pics please!
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

Maybe with one of the modern style of kilt...
But not with a traditional kilt

I agree, though I think the type of shirt/top you wore would be very important, particularly with a traditional kilt. You would have to coordinate to both the kilt (for color, at least) and to the belt for style or mood. Try it; if you are OK with the way it looks, go for it.

I seem to recall one of the members here posted a picture of himself dressed for Cowboy Action Shooting a couple of years ago. His outfit had the appropriate "old west" flavor, with kilt. In such an outfit, I could certainly see the bullet belt.

Well I wouldn't but it could look amazing with the right kilt etc.

My own personal opinion: a "bullet belt" (more correctly called a cartridge-loop belt, if we're talking about the same thing) looks poseur-ish without an accompanying holster and hog-leg... or rifle, as the case may be. If you're gonna wear a bullet belt along with the full rig, it might look kinda cool (although I'm not quite sure how such a 'cowboy' style getup would coordinate with a kilt - I'd have to see it). But just the bullet by itself... I'd skip it. A kilt by itself is enough of an attention-getter.

I am in the proccess of making my own out of some casings and links that I have. Tobus, we're not talking about the same thing. I'm talking about belt-fed machine gun ammunition. When I'm finished I'll post pics. Thanks everybody.
