    Buz Kidder Prototype Semi-Dress Sporran

Was at the PA Ren Faire yesterday for Celtic weekend and stopped by to see Rocky and Kelly at USA Kilts where they had three new prototype Buzz Kidder Sporrans, one of which I am now the proud owner of.

This is of the same high quality and workmanship as my current Buzz Kidder Rob Roy. I was in the market for a semi-dress, but really did not like the rabbit fur style, or the $150 price tags for something decent in leather and fur. This was a perfect fit.

Ooh, very nice. I'd love to see the other two prototypes. Buzz Kidder's sporrans cannot be beaten at their price point.

I really like that. I'm one of those (as are so many of you) that owns a Buzz Kidder sporran. So, I'm very pleased to see this... Can't wait to see any other future prototypes.

They were of the same style, but one was all white fur, and the other has just a small little patch of black in the corner. I thought this was the more striking of the three available.

Retail price on this would be about $75... I AM looking for feedback to give to Buzz. What does everyone think of it?

Currently, I am the only person to have them (or HAD them... I sold all 3). If he does make it a staple in his line, ANYONE who carries Buzz stuff will have them.

Let me know what you think of it's style / sewing / price, etc...

Well from the photo it looks very nice, I just picked up a semi dress sporran off ebay, but you can never have too many.

    Rocky,

I am looking at the picture and thinking that this must be cow hide.

It looks very nice but to me it looks like smart day wear not semi formal wear.
The shape, size, and large stiching around the front of the sporran just don't say semi-formal to me.

It is still a very handsome sporran.

Knowing the quality of Buzz Kidder sporrans, I will say to you what I said to the gentleman who owns "Buzz Kidder Originals" a couple of weeks ago. When I need to replace my simple day wear sporran it will be a Buzz Kidder, because then I won't need to replace it again.

I wonder if they would come in all black?

    Cheers

    Jamie

This says it just about perfectly. Nice sporran, but hardly semi-dress.
