chain mail belt as utilikilt belt any opinions

i need a new belt to accomidate the almost 3 inch wide belt loops in me utilikilt and awas thinking about ordering the belt in the below pict. the chick has been very helpful answering me e mails the next day or that evening, and she can make them 3 inches wide too, fer about $50 and she puts them together by hand with her tools.

a link to her website http://www.spiderchain.com/

    any opinions are appreciated

how will it wear on me utilikilt?

    and the back

option 2 is get some leather cut to 3 inches and make a kilt belt out of it, although cheaper i realy like the chain belt. i can get the leather fer about $20-25

    thanks

If you like the chain belt and can afford it, go for it. As long as there are no rough or jaged spots it should be fine.

Like the chain-mail. I think a motorcycle chain belts look rather fetching with utlikilt as well.
Ans of course you can never go wrong with spikes.
