    collapsible sporran cups

Does anyone know of a source for the collapsible or telescoping sporran cups? Reasonbly priced, of course.

    Cheers,

I remember those from boy scouts, they were always collapsing at the wrong time, usually when full of hot chocolate. They are very annoying to clean as well. They create more problems than they solve, in my opinion. I also don't like those wide, shallow metal "Sierra cups" sold at camping stores, it's like drinking from a pie tin.

A friend of mine has an original one from the 1890's that he uses in Spanish-American War reenacting & he's never had a problem with it. I really just want it for the odd "wee dram" at Burns Nights, games, etc.

I know this verges on blasphemy (especially for a kilt-wearer), but I hate whiskey and beer.

I do like gin once in a while. If someone makes a collapsible Martini glass for my sporran, I'm interested! (as long as there is still room for a small jar of olives...)

Like this? It's $69 at this site, but they do have some cheaper versions.

I really like this, but at $119 it's a bit pricey.

I got a couple of these, and for $11 a piece, they seem to work just fine.

    yep...

Thanks, Iolaus! That's the very thing I was looking for -- the third one is probably the right size, and more importantly, the right PRICE for this descendant of frugal Iowa-Scots farmers!

    Cheers,

Just ordered one of these, since I didn't have a round flask for my soon-to-arrive Freelander sporran.

It may only be worth what I paid for it, but what the hell.

    # Twist-off cap.
    # Each is 4 1/2 x 5 3/8" h., weighs 5 ozs.
