Diced hose source?

Can anyone recommend a great source for non-castellated diced hose in red and white? I've seen a few sites offering them at high prices - but wonder if that high price is necessary. Would wear with formal gear.

Cavet Emptor. I bought a pair of these years ago, and they still grew "beards", even after following "care and feeding" instructions.

I would recommend The Scottish Tartans Museum, Dunadd Trading Co. in Scotland (both Matt and Chris are members here) or the Tartan Thistle in Washington State. Norcalpiper, another member, is also a good source.

I'm not so sure I would call these alternatives to diced hose -- whilst I certainly like and support this style of hose, to my eyes, they are worn with day attire, and not formal Highland rig.

John at Keltoi Gaelic Clothing makes a great diced hose as I have personally discovered through ordering and recieving some. No pictures yet, sorry.

I also have a couple pairs of Norcalpiper's diced or triced hose, shop named skyehighlandoutfitters dot com.

These are all wool and custom knit typically, although your red and white should be more readily available as a stock item from somebody. Quality costs, so expect to pay well over $100US for a pair.
