Did I get a Sporran Deal Here?

Did I get a deal on this Sporran? I only had to pay 30 GBP with shipping to the US.

The two sporrans I have are black leather and wanted the white rabbit. I really don't care if it's faux or real for the price but they advertise it as Rabbit fur. I also realize that they added that it was an import so I assume Pakistani or something.

I already made the plunge - just wondering if some of the experts here think it was worth it?
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all

Without actually being able to see the item, it's hard to make a determination.

My initial reaction is that you did just fine. Please give us a review when it arrives.

I've got a white rabbit sporran. I think I'd like a gray one. If you're happy with that vendor, I might buy one from him.

The price is great, but I'm worried about this:
please note the prodcut we sell is indentical to above sporran but without the moitif we feel it looks better without
This is a business with a couple hundred items on eBay, and they couldn't be bothered to take a picture of their own product?

    Good point.

I never liked the 'fuzzy' ones......

    Fuzzy pictures, or fuzzy sporrans?

I wouldn't want a plain leather sporran with a formal outfit. A agree that the sporran in the pic would look better without the thistle, and I agree with Iolaus that they should have taken the time to photograph it.

    Ah, the 'fuzzy' sporrans...

I have nothing against fur (I will own one someday), just don't like the ones that look 'bushy'...

I would imagine these are Pakistani in origin??

    Sporrans

I've had one of the rabbit fur sporrans, but not from this seller(though I have bought from them and they were fine). I've presumed it is an import as the metalwork, though ok, is not as crisp or thick as some of the others I have seen. It worked fine for the first year's events, and I wouldn't say I disgraced myself with it, but now I've found that it's better to save, rather than splash out on 'bargains' and get something really smart which I can inspect first. 2 or 3 'mistakes' buys one really classy sporran.

I'm not sure about this auction. I've made it a rule never to purchase an item that doesn't have pics of the actual item on the auction. You never know what you are going to get.

    be careful next time...

if the sporran you get is what you are expecting, then I think you did very well for yourself!

    More Questions

As far as I can tell they give no useful details about the kilts and what they're made of. The Devil is in the details. But, hope you'll let us all know when you receive your sporran, and how it is.

The seller has an excellent rating and plenty of transactions. I'm sure it will be fine.
