    Don't Forget the Flashes!

As I was donning my Gordon SWK thrifty kilt yesterday, I realized I didn't have any flashes in a color that would match the tartan's. My supply of flashes matched the lighter colors of my Malcolm plaids.

As the thrifty doesn't have straps, I opted for the sleek look no flashes or kilt pin. I thought it had a nice clean look. However in the morning, I reallzed that flashes serve a useful purpose that the picture below supports.

Later in the day perusing XMTS I saw that Rocky was having a sale in kilt accessories. So I've supplemented my supply of flashes and picked up some good deals on socks. Thanks, Rocky!

Ah but "kilt police rules" clearly state that flashes shall not be worn with boots and hose scroonched doon.

I think his point is that he did not intend for the hose to be "scroonched down." I agree, however, that he looks fine, as is.

A House of Gordon tartan kilt trumps any silly rules. Good on ya cousin.
