They look OK by the photos... and the price is quite good for a dress sporran. Are you concerned that there is something wrong with them?

Please be aware that the fur covering on this is sealskin. This product is not to be imported into the US.

There could be VERY serious fines and repercussions if you win a bid on this.

By US law there should be a warning and disclaimer on this ad.

A little concerned about the collection, can't enlarge the pic enough to get good detail. Mainly just curious about the single one.

David, he may well have, but if it gets picked up in customs it isn't his ass in trouble. It's illegal to import any product made with sealskin, period.

    David,

Given the low number of feedback posts for this seller, I would have to recommend following Caveat Emptor in this purchase. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And Steve has a point about the importing of sealskin to the US. I don't know the laws or restrictions, but you would be doing yourself a favor to find out. This seller may have shipped 4 of these to the US, but they does not address whether is was legal to do so, and the seller is out nothing if customs impounds your shipment.

    Food for thought.

There is no shortage of people, who will gladly take your money to attempt to ship illegal products into the country. I work for an agency that through co-operation with customs has a whole box of confiscated material that we use for educational purposes.

I find that a high price and we haven't begun to count duty yet. You can do better in NA.
Other established retailers do point out the sealskin issue so it is real.

Whew!... I completely missed the sealskin issue.

(I guessing white leopard or lynx sporrans would be a no-no as well.)
