    Empire Canvas Works Shooting Jacket

A package just came for me, I was quite pleased to see that it was the Prototype Shooting Jacket that Kevin had put up for sale. After close inspection I must say that this jacket is wonderfully made, and quite distinct. I am so glad that Kevin put it up for sale and I was able to pick it up, thanks again Kevin it really is something. I was worried about the size, both my P.C. and Montrose Doublet are size 42, whereas my Argyll Jackets are size 40. This jacket is a 42 and I was not sure if it would be too big, however it does fit perfectly and I should be able to wear an Argyll under it.

    Here are a few pictures:

If anyone is interested, I have a jacket exactly like this in the museum gift shop, size 42R.... it's just missing buttons on the front, is all.

Yes Jamie, Kevin's work is amazing. His attention to detail is something else. Here are some close ups

Quite an impressive jacket! You wear it well McMurdo.

    Congratulations.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

It all has to do with using a Tripod and timer, I still can not get used to it, and yes I was breathing perhaps through my nose but still breathing nonetheless.

And the hair has been turning this way since High School.

...a smile now and then wouldn't hurt either!
