Eton Tux Jackets on ebay RIGHT NOW

There are half a dozen ex-rental Eton jackets in a range of sizes available on ebay right now for...get this....thirty dollars. Including shipping it was $41 for mine.

Sorry, I just bought the 46 R! but there are a mess of them left if you hurry!!!

These are much like the Mess Dress jackets that I just bought off ebay, only these are worsted wool. They are short-waisted tuxedo jackets. Remove the satin buttons on these and replace with pewter ones off of ebay and you're stylin'

The same ebay seller also has a range of dress shoes at fantastic prices and a range of sizes....the wingtips are quuite similar in appearrance to ghillies.

    You all OWE me...

Thanks for the tip. Those types of jackets look great, unfortunatly none are my size. I'll have to keep tabs on that.

KCW, I think they have your size.

If I did not already own a PC Jacket, I'd be all over that 43R.

KCW - Just go to Ebay and search for "Eton JAcket."

I just snatched the 44R. Need to get by the tux shop and buy a vest to go with it now. Oh yeah, and a traditional length kilt. Details details

Thanks for the heads up Alan.

Yah, Yah, just go to ebay and search for Eton Jacket...you'll see. They're single-button Eton jackets, *exactly* what you want for the "alternative" approach to Kilt formalwear.

Buy a $40 jacket and you need a $400 kilt to go with it.

This makes perfect sense to me. I bet it does to you, too. Are we nutters, or what?

Alan - THANK YOU for posting about these. I got greedy and took two - the 50R and 48R. One for now (50R) and one for down the road. Only wish I'd come across these a week ago so I wouldn't be looking to rent right now.
