It may have been commissioned, AZ, but not by me. It was a gift and I suspect was originally from your part of America.

Why would a feather Kilt Pin have any reference to Chief? I thought that "Other" thread (and it's varied historians) nailed it that one, two or three Eagle feathers designated Chiefs and Clan leadership exclusively in a particular display, not just "random" use of A Feather on the clothing.
