Fly Fishing Kilt Pin on Stewart of Appin
I received my pdcorlis http://www.pbase.com/pdcorlis/flypin pin on Saturday and my new Stewart of Appin tank today. I had been waiting for a kilt to show it on. I'll be wearing these to the Tucson games in November. I hope the photo does it justice. O'Neille
The Bonnie Prince Fly Pin on Stewart of Appin
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

A very nice pin.
They are very unique.
I love the Strathspey on my xmarks tartan.

Are these pins heavy enough to perform the function? They look light weight, and I always pick my kilt pins for a little weight?

Yep, they are a standard kilt pin. Mine weighs just under a half an ounce.

Looks great. But the real question is if you are an angler in a pinch and the fish are biting, can you use them with your fly rod and reel?
