    A Freelander in the mailbox!

What should I find after a long day at work in the post box today, but a parcel bearing Norwegian stamps -- and inside, a "black beauty" of a Freelander Sporran!!

All I can say is GRAND!! The piccies Freelander sent me via e-mail did not do the real thing justice, but I'll post one in my gallery anyway.

A Freelander Sporran truly is a sight to behold! And, I'll get to wear it for the first time this weekend at the Tartan Day celebrations in St. Charles, Missouri -- no doubt I'll have some comments & questions about where I got that grand sporran!

Now, how do I convince "she who must be obeyed" that I need another one?

    Cheers,

    Todd

    A soft sporran?

That's great! Being fairly new to all this, I had to go to a Web page to see a picture of one. They look nice and soft. Are they all soft? Mine is a simple, black leather one, fairly hard, from a little shop in Edinburgh (with sporrans as their specialty).

    freelander!

Yes, it is completely different from my standard day sporran that I ordered from J. Higgins several years ago -- tons more room, and just the fact that is handcrafted -- I don't think you can even begin to compare the two stylers -- now I can't wait until this weekend!!

The workmanship alone in a freelander is something to be prized -- and will make it an "heirloom" sporran in the years to come!

    Cheers,

    Todd

Yeah, at least make sure you're not wearing it while the sniffing is going on.

I too just received my parcel from over seas. The Freelander Sporran is wonderful. I am very impressed. I will enjoy wearing it because it reminds me of the nice guys on this forum.

David, thank you for the sporran. It is perfect.

Sometimes you actually get what you pay for and rarely (like in this instance) you get MORE than what you pay for. I actually enjoyed giving David my money.

Tell her that it's for HER... then you just wear it whenever you want.

    Worked for me.
