Frugal Corner Sporran

I received my formal rabbit sporran from Mark at Frugal Corner today. It's great!

Pics and a review coming soon. I just wanted to get this shout-out up to let Mark know it's here and to let the rest of you know the customer service is fast and the merchandise is good.

I know I've been slow getting the pics up. I'm in the process of moving both my home and my office and have been very busy. I'll dress up in the formal suit this weekend and get my wife to shoot some pics. I'll get some close-ups of the sporran, too.

Ok, folks, I don't know when I'll get a chance to dress up in the whole suit, so here are pics of the sporran, without me wearing it.

Nice and roomy!

Nice, wide gusset, also made from rabbit skin.

This thing is beautiful. The stitching is all solid and the fur is very nice. The plating on the cantle is uniform - better than some I have seen. I might replace the snaps that attach the chain to the D-rings, but they're just like the ones that come on most sporran chains.

I've long wanted a gray dress sporran. I thought it would catch the gray stripes in the tartan of my tank and I was right. I shot these photos against an extra piece of that tartan. This Frugal Corner sporran is just the thing.
