    Funky shoes

Here's two pics of interesting 'tartan-ish' shoes:

Kenneth Cole Reaction Men's Rub Crawl in black/grey tweed

Kenneth Cole Reaction Men's Rub Crawl in brown/brown tweed

Don't know if anyone thinks they'd look good with a kilt (maybe a solid color kilt?) but I just thought I'd post the pics because I've never seen shoes with a 'tartan' material in the design. They sell for $130-$140, so just Google the shoe name if you're interested...

(yes, that's Rub Crawl and not Pub Crawl)

Can't see myself in them, but they are interesting enough!

I love the brown ones it's just mixing tartans would be a no no you'd have to have a kilt in the same tartan...Wait a minute..........what did I say.....Maybe some kiltmaker could get together with a shoemaker........

I like them in a strange way, except I cannot see me wearing them as I think that I would have Tartan Clash!

Well, they are certainly 'interesting' but, in all honesty, they really could only be worn with a plain kilt. Even if the kilt were in the identical tartan (are they 'real' tartans in fact?) to that of the shoe, the effect would be somewhat gross - just that bit too much!

Anybody remember that God Awful pic of the suit made out of tartan? Pants, coat, and all? Imagine that with matching tartan shoes.

    BLECH.

And please, whomever it was, have mercy and do not post that pic again.

    I seemingly lack mercy.

It looked an awful lot like this.

Somebody round these parts had the full getup on an actual human being. I believe it made many of us sick. Several forum members were never heard from again since that picture was posted.
