A Good Deal on Kilt Hangers
My wife just came home from a going-out-of-business sale at Linens 'n' Things. She brought me a package of six "Skirt & Slack" hangers much like the kilt hangers Jerry includes with SWK kilts---$4.99 for the six. Worth checking out if you have the need.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

Walmart's also got some good 'skirt' hangers. I especially like the bamboo ones.

You can also get FREE hangers just by visiting your local department store.
Each time they sell a garment they take off the hangers and throw them in a box under the counter. I have had really good luck asking them if I could go through the box. I can usually find enough hangers for all my Kilts.
I wrote at thread on "How to hang your Kilt" and it can be found in the tutorials.

Warning!
These hangers are not as useful as I had hoped. They seem to be satisfactory for light-weight kilts but not for anything approaching a tank. The one I used on my WPG reproduction dropped the kilt on the floor after about two days, and when I put it back on the kilt it simply broke. A part that needs to be steel is only plastic, and that's just not strong enough.
Well, maybe next time . . .

Ian.
Use three of them spaced out along the kilt top. Fold the kilt with aprons overlapping (same as when worn) and twist the hanger hooks to face the same way and hang the kilt up. Works a treat and as Rocky says, they are free. The woman in the supermarket I went to did look a bit puzzled when I asked if I could have 16 skirt hangers mind.
