A great wee fox!
A wee while ago I had a pretty intense spiritual experience and a fox was involved. For those interested parties, go here.
As a consequence when I saw this kilt pin I just had to get it.
Traditionaly carved Russian Bone Pin.
It's heavier than you would think and the detail is incredible.
After a wee wait it arrived today and I just love it!

You said it's heavier than it looks It really doesn't look heavy enough to be a kilt pin. I'm sure it is otherwise you would not use it for such.
I will say this the craftmanship is among the best I have ever seen. I know you are proud to own it.
Any update as to when you get to the US?

Looks fantastic! I've opted for various 2" Brooches as Kilt Pins, they are heavy enough, and quite distinctive. Ebay has plenty under "Brooches large". I have one for each Kilt, 28 I think....

Congratulations! Always good reasons for kilt pins.
I would call that fox medicine for sure... I think back to your encounter with the thug at the cigarette store, and say there is a connection.

That looks great Arlen congratulations.

It is a beauty!

First of all, that's a beautiful description of your encounter with the fox.
Second, "traditionally carved Russian bone"...made from real a real Russian? It looks beautiful.

Arlen...
I read your fox story...it, too, is beautiful. I certainly believe in things like that!
