That is a handsome tartan! Scott Green modern, right? It looks much better in your photos than it does on most of the tartan weaver websites I've seen. Fantastic!

Yup, Loch Carron Strome clan Scott modern green. On the swatches I strongly prefer the House of Edgar to the LC Strome in my clan red, the red is just so much brighter.

Those are really fine pictures. The young lady in the picture with you certainly outshines the cat in my picture.

I just remembered what else I was going to add. It looks like you have just the corner of the plaid attached to your jacket. I discovered that it hangs better and higher if I pleat the whole cut end of the fabric, and pass the whole pleated mess under my eapaulette, than if I pin it by the corner. I also discovered that the pin isn't necessary, because the epaulette holds the plaid plenty tight enough to prevent slipping.
