And O'Neille - you do know the Arizona Irish Festival is in Phoenix this Saturday -

Wanted to go but was down there last weekend and going to Tucson for their games on 11/4....
Maybe I should ask around and see if some of the Mormon ladies in town knit kilt hose...

RL and myself had a little trade of a kilt and sash for some hose. Thanks for the heads up re: the Irish Festival. I'll be free on Saturday and I may just make it. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Stunning! I wonder if RL might be interested in some side work.
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

Custom Kilt Hose
There is nothing like wearing anything that is custom made to fit you. These look great and should last you for years. Red Lioness is a talented woman.

These were the first things I'd knit for someone I couldn't check the progress as I went, so I was a wee bit nervous. I take my knitting with me everywhere, so everyplace I went people would ask what I was making and I'd show them. Half said they were way too big, half said they were way too small and only about three people acknowledged that they *might* be the right size. I was waiting with bated breath for O'Neille to get these and validate my knitting.
I'm glad they fit so well; I've got the stretch on the foot down pat with this wool, so I can easily get snug without getting tight. I'm up for other trades or outright buying hose. I'm working for a tam for myself right now, so I'll let you lads know how it goes.
