Any vendor of Gaelic Themes buckles. They are really heavy cast pewter.

I saw the belt buckles from these people at Grandfather Mountain last month and they're the best buckles I've seen. No real website yet though. I'm looking forward to getting one from them at Stone Mountain this October.

Hello Puffer,
Not sure if you're still looking. I know that J. Higgins does indeed carry Gaelic Themes pewter products. I purchased a beefy G.T. buckle from them a couple years ago. I know Scottish Lion carries their items as well. Web sites are www.jhiggins.net and www.scottishlion.com . Not sure of your price range, but my friend at Scotia Metalwork makes some really nice kilt belt buckles and they are very solid. Again they are very, very nice ! I highly recommend them. You can check them out under the Jewelry section of his site and then of course click on kilt buckles and you'll find a few pics of what he offers. He was/ still is,also a custom order jeweler for many years so he can also whip up custom pieces as well. Definately worth checking out www.scotiametalwork.com .
Yours Aye,
Sean

I got this buckle from Cavscout at Oconee Leatherworks http://oconeeleatherworks.com/Buckles.htm It is one of the Gaelic Themes buckles that was mentioned.

Those are excellent buckles Glen. Very Beefy! The only buckle I have right now is the "Blank" version of that buckle (no Clan badge so you can insert your own or any other badge with the right pin spacing).

Hi Glen,
That's the same one I got except mines Clan Cameron. They are great if you're looking for a crested type. You can also remove the badge and pop in anything else that might suit your fancy and make it even more unique.
