    Highland Warmth

I bought a blanket from Highland Warmth and I have to say, it's pretty great. I got the Gordon Modern, and while the sett is very large (about a foot!), it is also very attractive. The material is about as thick at a WPG Kilt, but softer, and the two ends are perled. Folded over lengthwise, this makes an excellent day plaid, for any of you who are interested. Next time I wear my WPG Gordon kilt, I'll be sure to take a photo with the blanket over my shoulder. It looks great!

Never heard of these folks. Thanks for the link.

I'm a wool blanket junkie too, but always Pendletons so far.

Browsing around, looks like Jaime modeling Mr. Antony's rain cape on the close out page??

I'll be darned if that isn't Jamie! Maybe he's got an evil twin he doesn't know about?

There is a Highland Warmth (or maybe, THE Highland Warmth) near me in Davis, CA. Every time I went by it was closed. They have some rather unusual hours: Tuesday to Friday 11 am to 5 pm. 2nd & 3rd Saturdays of each month 10 am to 3 pm. I finally went when they were open and wondered how he survives in a tiny retail space and short hours. I guess it's internet sales. Nice stuff but not much on the shelves. Took about 30 seconds to see his inventory. I had hoped he might have hose, no luck. Still, nice stuff.

    Yup that's Jamie
I think I'm the only mod with an evil twin brother, no wait I'm the evil one anyway Jamie has mentioned them before, I ordered a tartan flat cap from them last year and the proprietor who is a friend of Jamie's just joined X-Marks a few days ago.

Jamie is also in there modelling the tartan flat caps. I wish I had known about this page a month or so ago as I could have saved $30 on my Macdonald Weathered flat cap. 'DOH!!

    Hey Ron,
If there are any Pendleton's you are looking for, the mill is just down the hiway from us. That's where I get my cape material.
