    How do you get rolling ?

    Hi, Brand new here, and just getting started looking into kilts, sporrans, etc. Just wondered if anyone can clue me in on where to find patterns for making ones own sporran and as many other accessories as possible. I'm but a poor Scot and hae ta do as much as I can ma self

    Many members have tackled Sporrans sgian dubh's and alike, you might also want to search for an "xkilt" if you haver any skill with a sewing machine.

    from the Scottish Borders.

    If you are skilled with your hands, by all means make your own sporrans, but there are often cheap presentable sporrans available on e-bay.

    Click the buy button and type in Sporran and you should see a long list of sporrans. Sellers of brand new budget sporrans on e-bay include thescottishshop; scottishheritage-net and fredonline.

    You can probably buy an inexpensive sporran and kilt belt for less than you can make them.
