    I just ordered this....

and I do believe it will make a nice addition for spring and summer.
We get lots of flying bugs in these parts and I always wanted one!

I think it shall make me a proper gentleman
Much better to swat things with a horse-tail than with the hand.

Reminds me of Lt. Bromhead (Michael Caine) in Zulu:

"I'll tell my man to clean your kit...Well, chin chin! do carry on with your mud pies!"

    Cheers,

30-year cicadas. They love the pipes. I'll be outdoors piping, and suddenly, SMACK! I've got a 3" bug crawling up my forehead. I've finished a tune with four or five of them crawling on me...quite distracting (but not quite as distracting as the time I was piping "Flowers of the Forest" for a big military funeral, took a breath, and inhaled and swallowed a bug. Suddenly, The Lament was a very long tune indeed).

The palmetto bugs (giant flying cockroaches) around here are so big they have navigation and landing lights.
