    Jabot by Lady Chrystel

Here is the result of this weeks cogitation.
This jabot is a prototype. The following ones would be slightly different.
    Anyone interested ?

    Have a good day !

Love it. Just wish it would go with a PC, as I have no doublet.

I have seen "Shir Shaun" wearing it with a PC. If it's good enough for him ....
Although the perceived wisdom is that it should properly be worn with one of the doublets.

Milady Chrystel has made a nice job and you could wear it without a shirt with a miltary or Montrose doublet - like this

Here is mine for comparison - front view

This shows the neck band - it fastens with hooks and eyes and press studs. Velcro would be a big improvement!

And this is the back view - it has material at the back to keep its shape

I wish I had a doublet so I would have a good excuse to get one of those

Beautiful Robert. I too, am unhappy with what passes for jabots. I have a lady who specialises in period shirts and cravats working on one as we speak. We should compare design.
