I have just finished my jacket conversion and used gold tone round buttons. They match my big round brass belt buckle. I may need to color my sporran silver parts gold.
I also just bought a green suede vest. Hunter green. MacDonald O'Isle hunt mod tartan. Is suede ever done? It has a nice texture. Gold buttons, Suede vest.... I am all over the road.
