Jacket measurements

Does anyone know what the sleeve lengths are for a jacket in "short" and "regular" in standard off the rack jackets?

I have a chart at work that I can look at on Monday and let you know. But it varies by chest size. So, for instance, a size 48R jacket will have sleeve length x. A 48S will have sleeves at x-1, and a 48L will have sleeves x+1.

Aye,
Matt

Matt, I'm particularly interested in the measurement for 42 and 44. I appreciate the help.

Bubba,

When I get in to work Monday morning, I will look those two sizes up on the chart and let you know the standard sleeve lengths. However, as forgetful as I can sometimes be, might not hurt to send me a little reminder if you haven't heard from me by lunch!

Ok here are the sleeve lengths for the Prince Charlie and Argyll jackets that are stocked by Lochcarron -- I am assuming these are fairly standard and so would be the same from other companies as well.

Chest 42 and 44 have 25" sleeves in a regular fitting. Short fitting is 1" less, Long fitting is 1" more.

Here is the full chart, with measurements being chest/sleeve for regular fittings:
36/23.5
38/24
40/24.5
42/25
44/25
46/25
48/25.5
50/26
52/26
54/27

Aye,
Matt
