Kilt jacket buttons
Hi All,
Some kilt jackets have buttons with washer and ring fittings. What are washer and ring fittings?

buttons
to add to Robin's post, they make the buttons lie flat on the jacket.

That is a handy feature I've not seen on a jacket in the US.
