    Leather vests

Does anyone know a source for vests made of leather that are suited for wearing with a kilt?

I've been looking for a leather jacket, but with summer coming up, a vest may be good for now.

What about getting hold of a pattern and Making one yourself Graham. Sewing in Leather isn't so difficult as I thought.

    So go on try it.

Maybe one of the Folkware patterens would be a good start.

A man of your artistic nature would no doubt find it a challenge and lots of fun. You'll save about 1/2 a kilt too

Graham, anyplace that sells motorcycle gear should have them or, if there's a leather shop near you you could get one made. Mine came from a leather shop originally, but I changed the buttons. I replaced the black buttons with pewter celtic knot buttons.

    Graham,

I think you should go for it and make one yourself. If I am looking for the time to do leather work, you can too!! It will keep you out of trouble Like David has said, it is probably easier than we let on.
