| | | Light-Brown Sporran...Where to find??
Hi, gang! Well, I've received a fabulous new light-brown celtic-embossed belt and matching sporran belt from Steve Frazier (Cavscout), but I'm having a dickens of a time finding a nice leather sporran to nearly-match it.
I'm looking for a Rob Roy-style which seems to have plenty of room. I love the one I got from Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum, but Matt only carries dark brown and black.
Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions?
Sandy

Shoot an email over to David and Sten Rune over at www.freelandersporrans.com and see if they can't help you out.
They make some of the best sporrans around.

You might also want to check what price glory I believe they had military style sporrans in a light brown leather and they also received favorable reviews on this forum.

You could also go with one of the Ferguson Britt sporrans. Lamar makes a couple of great "Rob Roy" style sporrans, and can make them in quite a variety of leather colors. http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/sporran_fb.html
Would you happen to have a picture of the color leather you're looking for?

Ryan is correct. Our Ferguson Britt line can be made in either black or any of five shades of brown. Dark brown is most common, but there are lots of other options.

And here are your color choices: |

I made these two and would be willing to part with either one

Turpin also can make you a Thorfinn sporran in virtually any color (I think he even has some purple leather). http://www.thorfinnsporrans.com/3.html

| | The Leatherman makes a brown rustic sporran... I don't know if that's a light enough brown, though.
