    A little assistance please

    Hey there

I'm nearly finished with my first sporran!!
I've been looking all over the place online for pics of how the sporran strap/chain is attached, but I've not had any luck.
Would anyone be kind enough to take a quick snapshot of the back of their sporran so I can see how it's done?
Are all sporrans the same in this respect, or is there a difference between the way that different sporrans such as formal and day sporran straps are attached?

    I appreciate any help........thanks

will have to wait until tomorrow for a picture, but I will try to explain how mine is setup. On the back of the sporran there is a piece of leather stitched to the sporran on the top and bottom edges such that there is basically a long (2" - 3") belt loop on the back of the sporran. Through there is a small piece of leather with the ends stitched over to hold a small metal ring in place on both ends. The belt of the sporran, mine is a metal chains with leather end buckles, has a quick clip on the end of each chain that clips to the metal rings on either side of the sporran. Hope this helps.

My sporrans are all rather different from Dreadbelly's.

The first pic shows my brown day sporran with a strap. The second shows my black day sporran with the chain and the little strip of leather and rings that the chain connects to. Both are similar in construction on the back. My semi-dress and dress sporrans are set up the same way.
