Look What I Found on Ebay

    Check out this link:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Scottish-Glenurq...QQcmdZViewItem

For those who don't want to click, here is what struck me as interesting:

"This Sgian Dubh is called the GLENURQUHART and is a reproduction of a Sgian Dubh which was carved from a piece of Glenurquhart Oak. The original was designed and created by Rab Gordon in his studio that overlooks Loch Ness. "

    Just thought it was interesting!

Those are the ones that the tartan museum carry. The handles are made of some kind of resin material. Has anyone seen these first hand, I am thinking about getting one for my daywear outfit.
    Cheers,

That's good...this was the real reason I posted this...curious if it was authorized, but also publishing a mention of a member...

Assuming that we are talking about a quality kilt - In the final definition, it's a kilt that is worn during the day.

It's really more about what you wear with the kilt, more than the kilt itself. A "tank" can be worn at any time of the day or night with the appropriate assessories.

Now if we bring in the "Casual" kilt into question, that changes things. Few people would wear a causual kilt with evening attire.

This is an over-simplification, but you get the idea.

Yes, that's ok, I do the odd bit of work for the maker of those and allow them to use that design. They also make it as a kilt pin.
